General Health What is Hypoglycemia (Low blood sugar)?
Your cells use glucose, which is a form of sugar, for energy. A hormone called insulin helps carry glucose from your blood to the cells. Hypoglycemia is when there is an abnormally low level of glucose in the blood and can lead to symptoms such as fatigue, dizziness, blurred vision, irritability, fainting spells, headaches and metal confusion.
Hypoglycemia can be inherited, or be caused by certain diseases or a poor diet
