• Smart oil is a source of omega 3 and omega 6 essential oils

NutriChem�s Smart Oil is a comprehensive blend of essential fatty acids, combining the oils of flaxseed, borage, and salmon. 

Flaxseed provides an excellent source of alpha-linolenic acid, an omega-3 fatty acid. 

Salmon oil contains generous quantities of EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (decosahexanoic acid), two ready-to-use forms of omega-3 fatty acids. 

Borage oil helps balance out the formula by providing the highest concentrated source of two omega-6 fatty acids: linoleic acid and GLA (gamm-linolenic acid), its readily usable form.

Omega-3 and omega-6 are just two of nearly 24 polyunsaturated fats, known as essential fatty acids (EFAs) because they can not be manufactured by the body.  Therefore, they must be obtained through the diet.
Since EFAs are easily damaged by heat, light, and oxygen, processed foods are an unreliable source.   Anyone whose diet does not include either whole nuts, seeds or coldwater fish on a daily basis can ensure their intake of EFAs with NutriChem Smart Oil.
