Gentian is used as a bitter, to strengthen digestion and treat atonic dyspepsia. It also acts as a tonic, alleviating fatigue from chronic disease and as a digestive tonic and bitter to help stimulate appetite and aid digestion (stomachic).
Medicinal Ingredients - per 1 ml:
Gentian root (Gentiana lutea)
Non-medicinal ingredients: Distilled water, Grain alcohol.
Adults: Take 0.8-1.6 ml (24-48 drops) 3 times daily in a little water 15-60 minutes before meals.
Caution: Do not use: if you are pregnant; if you have acute stomach irritation, inflammation, or stomach or duodenal ulcers. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms worsen or persist and before use if you are breastfeeding. Some people may experience headaches. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if seal is broken. Store at room temperature.
