5-HTP is an amino acid vital to the production of the neurotransmitter serotonin. Low serotonin is linked to many common conditions including depression, obesity, sleeplessness, migraines, and fibromyalgia. By improving serotonin levels, Natural Factors 5-HTP can help support emotional well-being, improve sleep quality, relieve the pain of fibromyalgia, prevent migraines, and curb appetite.
