Green Smoothie for Clear Skin

Gently cleansing the body each season is a great way to give your body and skin a boost. Here's how the ingredients in this smoothie can help:
- Fresh, hydrating, green vegetables such as romaine lettuce and cucumbers help to eliminate waste from the cells, which is imperative to achieve clear, glowing, skin.
- Aloe Vera promotes regular elimination while soothing and healing the intestinal walls where nutrients are absorbed.
- Spirulina is a blue-green algae and a nutritional powerhouse when it comes to cleansing and skin health. Not only is it packed with chlorophyll to help cleanse the blood, but it contains vitamins, minerals and proteins! (If you’re new to chlorophyll, start with ¼ teaspoon and work your way up to a full teaspoon per day.)
Sip your way to clear skin with this refreshing smoothie that can be enjoyed any time of the day!
1 cup water
1 cup frozen pineapple
1 cup romaine lettuce
1 inch of fresh Aloe Vera (skin peeled)
4 tbsp hemp seeds
1 tsp spirulina powder
Add all ingredients to a high powered blender and blend until smooth!
