NutriChem's CoEnzyme Q10 helps support cardiovascular health and helps to reduce the frequency of migraine headaches and associated nausea/vomiting when taken as a prophylactic.
Also known as ubiquinone, coenzyme Q10 is a naturally-occurring, fat-soluble chemical found throughout the body. As we age, our ability to produce CoQ10 decreases, which can lead to noticeably lower energy levels and a lack of well-being. This is because CoQ10 is vital in the chain of reactions which make ATP (an energy producing compound) within each cell.
Since food is not a significant source of CoQ10, supplements may be the best way to ensure adequate stores for optimal health. CoQ10 has powerful effects to reduce systolic blood pressure and can reduce the risk of future cardiac events in patients who have recently experienced a heart attack.
