Phosphogabamine is an unique blend of 4 nutritional supplements: phosphatidylserine, theanine, gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) and L-glutamine. Each component of phosphogabamine has a similar role to promote relaxation and reduce stress and anxiety, without the effects of drowsiness or loss of concentration: L-theanine is an amino acid found in green tea. It promotes calmness and reduces anxiety through the generation of alpha-brain waves. Phosphatidylserine (PS) is found naturally in the brain. PS has been shown in numerous studies to decrease elevations in cortisol, associated with stress to the body. Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the body. It is a non-essential amino acid, since the body can make it, but it becomes conditionally essential (meaning you must get it from food or supplements) in states of illness, injury or stress. GABA is the most important and widespread inhibitory neurotransmitter and is needed to inhibit over-stimulation. People suffering from anxiety, nervousness, panic disorders, mood disorders, and insomnia. It can help promote relaxation, reduce anxiety and stress, and improve sleep.
