    Digest Gluten Plus contains two major types of enzymes. One group of endoproteases cleaves the bonds of proteins and breaks them into peptides. The other is a group of exo-peptidases which cleave amino acids away from the end of peptides. In in vitro laboratory results, pure gluten protein and pure gliadin were placed in separate stomachers with and without Digest Gluten Plus for a period of two hours. The results show that the Digest Gluten Plus completely breaks down both the gluten and gliadin compared to the control. Product ideal for vegetarians.

  • Medicinal Ingredients: each vegetable capsule contains:

    Gluten Specific Bacteria (from Bacillus subtilis)

    350 mg (18 000 FCC PC)

    Yielding: 31.5 Proteinase Units

    Gluten Specific Bacteria (from Bacillus subtilis)

    50 mg (5700 FCC PC)

    Yielding: 10 Endoproteinase Units

    Acid Active Protease (from Aspergillus oryzae)

    10 mg / 0.7 CPU (1980 FCC HUT)

    Alkaline Active Protease (from Aspergillus oryzae)

    10 mg / 2 CPU (5100 FCC HUT)

    Non-medicinal ingredients: Hypromellose, magnesium stearate. Contains milk, wheat.

  • Adults (19 years and older): Take one capsule daily with a meal or as recommended by your health care practitioner. Consult your healthcare practitioner for prolonged use.


    Caution: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding; have gastrointestinal lesions/ulcers; are taking anticoagulant agents, anti-inflammatory agents, or other enzyme products; or are having surgery, consult your healthcare practitioner prior to use. Hypersensitivity/allergy has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use.

    Do not use if outer seal is broken or missing. Store in a cool, dry place.


    Yeast, corn, soy, corn, sodium, sugar, artificial colouring and flavouring, antimicrobial preservatives. Ideal for vegetarians.
