    Melatonin is a neuro-hormone (amino acid) naturally produced in the pineal gland in the brain and present in high amounts in the gastrointestinal tract. It is involved in many of the body, brain and glandular biological functions including regulation of normal sleep/wake cycles. This sustained-release Melatonin product will release the dosage over a two hour period.

    Medicinal Ingredients: each tablet contains:

    Magnesium (citrate) 40 mg
    Niacin (as niacinamide) 100 mg
    Melatonin 1 mg
    Vitamin B6 (as pyridoxine hydrochloride) 5 mg

    Non-medicinal ingredients: calcium carbonate, tablet coating (water, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, cellulose, stearic acid), cellulose, hypromellose, stearic acid, and magnesium stearate.

    Adults: Take 1 tablet an hour before bed with water.

    Caution: Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a hormonal disorder, diabetes, liver or kidney disease, cerebral palsy, seizure disorders, migraine, depression and/or hypertension or if you are taking blood pressure or sedative/hypnotic medications. If symptoms persist continuously for more than 4 weeks (chronic insomnia), consult your health care practitioner. Do not use if you are taking immunosuppressive drugs. Do not drive or use machinery for 5 hours after taking Melatonin. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
